North Korea admits first death in Corona
North Korea has for the first time acknowledged that its citizens have died of coronavirus infection. According to the country's official media, thousands of people are experiencing symptoms of fever.
One lakh and six thousand people suffering from fever are being treated in isolation in the country. Although experts believe that the virus has been present in the country for some time. But authorities acknowledged the matter for the first time on Thursday
They said the capital, Pyongyang, had experienced an Omicron-type outbreak and announced a lockdown. Exactly how many people were infected, however, was not disclosed in detail.
However, they said, three and a half million people have symptoms of fever. However, it was not immediately clear how many of them were diagnosed with corona.
