Tottenham kept Champions League hopes alive with Kane's goal

Tottenham kept Champions League hopes alive. Harry Kane did not disappoint the Spurs in a match that would bring them to the top of the table with a win against Burnley.

Antonio Conte's side beat Burnley 1-0 at home on Sunday (May 15). Kane scored the only goal of the match.

In this victory, Tottenham has risen to four with 6 points in 36 matches. Arsenal have five points from five, they have played one match less. If the Gunners lose one match and Tottenham win the last match, the Spurs will be assured in the Champions League.

The Spurs aimed at eight shots with 21 shots at the Burnley Post with 69 per cent possession at home. Burnley, on the other hand, had just one goal in eight shots. Harry Kane scored the only goal from a spot kick in the first eight minutes of the first half. In the second half, Burnley tried to return to the match but failed.
